Evidence-Backed Review, Not a Magic Verdict
VeriFact extracts factual claims, retrieves evidence from configured providers, evaluates the relationship between each claim and its evidence, and returns structured outcomes such as supported, refuted, disputed, outdated, or insufficient evidence. Results include confidence, citations, provenance, timing, and review metadata so an editor can inspect the basis of the finding.
Sources remain authoritative. VeriFact is designed to make review faster and more auditable, not to replace editorial judgment or certify opinions and predictions as facts.
Three Separate Products
- VeriFact API 3.5.0: the authenticated FastAPI service and stable v1 developer contract for claims, evidence, jobs, workspaces, history, receipts, policy, privacy, usage, licensing, and integrations.
- VeriFact WordPress Plugin 3.5.0: the CMS client with editor review, durable queues, revision-aware rescans, publication gates, evidence workflows, and accessible inline source links.
- VeriFact Standalone Blog 1.0.0: the framework-independent reference application for static sites and custom publishing systems.
Technology Designed for Integration
VeriFact uses typed API contracts, scoped authentication, idempotent operations, tenant workspaces, durable asynchronous jobs, audit records, provenance hashes, privacy controls, and observable health states. Production clients keep credentials on the server and publish only the public evidence fields required by readers.
